Official inauguration of the Jan Vertonghen Foundation Playground at the Queen Mathilde Hospital.

3 June 2019

On June 3, 2019, the very first Jan Vertonghen Foundation Playground was officially opened on the rooftop terrace of the Queen Mathilde Mother and Child Center.

This unique play area, equipped with an interactive football wall, provides sick children with the opportunity to rehabilitate through play. Specifically designed for oncology patients and diabetics, but accessible to all children, this playground makes physical activity more enjoyable than ever. Together with UZA, the Jan Vertonghen Foundation ensures that every child can play and exercise, even in difficult times.

Because every child is special!
