Yesterday, Jan Vertonghen opened our fourteenth playground on the Jan Davidlei in Antwerp. The interactive football wall gave children the opportunity to actively move. As a highlight, each child received a football signed by Jan Vertonghen, further boosting the excitement.

“This playground is extra special for me because I grew up in Antwerp myself,” said Jan Vertonghen.

He also emphasized the importance of sports for the youth and the positive impact that our playgrounds have on children. “We not only want to provide fun but also contribute to a healthier future,” he said. The atmosphere was festive, with smiling faces and plenty of sports fun.

With this playground, the Foundation adds another safe and stimulating space where children can play sports and come together. “Together, we are building a healthier future,” said Vertonghen. The foundation continues to focus on contributing to the physical and mental well-being of children through sports.
