Duvel on Tour supports the Jan Vertonghen Foundation

On May 1st, Sportizon and Duvel organized their annual bike ride, with this year’s proceeds going to the Jan Vertonghen Foundation.
Every year, Sportizon and Duvel organize the Duvel on Tour bike ride on May 1st. The ride goes from Duvel Moortgat Brewery to the City Brewery de Koninck 🍻.
Each year, they contribute to a good cause through this event. This year, they chose to support the Jan Vertonghen Foundation.
How does it work?
The Jan Vertonghen Foundation provided 16 volunteers to help on May 1st. We were responsible for the scan and ride, the stamp point, and the bike parking. In return, Sportizon and Duvel sponsor €1 per participant in the form of sports equipment. This equipment will be used by the foundation.
There were a total of 5,200 registrations for Duvel on Tour. This means they are donating €5,200 to the Jan Vertonghen Foundation, for which we are sincerely grateful!
We will use this amount to help purchase a new treadmill and bike, worth €20,000, which we plan to provide for the Pulderbos rehabilitation center in Zandhoven. In this way, we aim to help the children in Pulderbos with their rehabilitation because every child is special!
