Festive opening of the playground at Het Ooievaarsnest, Assenede

On June 3, 2023, the Jan Vertonghen Foundation Playground was officially opened at Het Ooievaarsnest in Assenede. Jan Vertonghen himself was present to inaugurate the Sona arch and symbolically cut the ribbon.

On Saturday, June 3, the children of Het Ooievaarsnest in Assenede had a very special guest at their school fair.

None other than Jan Vertonghen came to inaugurate the Jan Vertonghen Foundation’s Sona arch. He officially cut the ribbon, and of course, joined the children in playing.

There was also time for autographs and photos with Jan. 😎
