The Goal! campaign by the Jan Vertonghen Foundation and Play Nostalgie was a great success, raising €18,657. The campaign, which included a special radio show and an auction of unique items, will contribute to the construction of a new playground at the Middelheim Hospital in Antwerp.
At the Jan Vertonghen Foundation, we are incredibly grateful for the successful Goal! campaign, which, in collaboration with Play Nostalgie, raised an impressive €18,657. The campaign featured a special radio show and an auction of unique items, including signed Red Devils shirts.
The auction took place on the platform of our partner Vavato, who also donated an additional €2 for each bid placed. Their support made this campaign even more successful, and we are immensely thankful for their commitment and hospitality as the auction host.
The proceeds will be used to build a new playground at the child and adolescent psychiatry department of Middelheim Hospital in Antwerp. The playground will provide sick children with a place to play and exercise.
Jan Vertonghen personally recorded a short YouTube video to sincerely thank all participants for their support and donations. Together, we are making a difference and bringing smiles back to the faces of children in the hospital.
