On Tuesday, December 20, we stopped by the Queen Mathilde Mother and Child Center at UZA with gifts. One of these gifts is an art box specially designed by us for sick children who are unable to leave their rooms—the children hospitalized at UZA were the first to test it out.
We wanted to provide the hospitalized children with a fun day, especially during the Christmas season. Therefore, in collaboration with A-Group and LuKiArt, we aimed to deliver gifts to all the children in the hospital. The children received a ball and a teddy bear, donated by A-Group. There was also an opportunity to kick a ball on our Playground. 😃 Later, Jan Vertonghen, along with some youth players from A-Group, visited the children who couldn’t leave their rooms. They also received a special art box from Jan.
This box was designed by the Foundation in collaboration with LuKiArt. In 2023, the Foundation will donate 100 of these art boxes to various hospitals in Belgium. UZA was the first hospital to receive these boxes. The aim is for the children to engage in creative activities through this box, focusing on the theme of art.
It was a fantastic day, and it was wonderful to distribute Christmas gifts to all the sick children.
Jan Vertonghen had the honor of giving our specially designed art boxes to the children who couldn’t leave their rooms so they could also engage in creative activities.
Just happy faces all around! 🥰
Thanks to A-Group and our partner LuKiArt for making this day possible together with us. ❤️
