Welcome to our new director

As of February 1st, Robin Cnops will become the new director of the Jan Vertonghen Foundation. He succeeds Laetitia Mbenza, who is stepping down after seven beautiful and meaningful years. Robin is familiar with the world of non-profits and has worked for many years at the Royal Belgian Football Association.

Jan Vertonghen is delighted with Robin’s arrival but will deeply miss Laetitia’s dedication.

“Laetitia has built a wonderful foundation and has committed herself wholeheartedly to our mission,” he says. “Under her leadership, exceptional projects have been realized in hospitals, municipalities, and schools. Moreover, she leaves behind a financially healthy and well-structured organization. For that, I am very grateful to her. I am confident that Robin will further grow the foundation with new initiatives and ideas.”
